		Medium: Graphite Pencil on Velum enhanced with colored pencils.
		Breed:  Labradoodle (Labrador and Poodle mix)

The sketch looks pretty rough at this stage. I've  lightly traced the outline with a black pencil on the velour paper.		I start drawing from top left to right as I feel it is less messy being right handed.
Update 3		Update 4
I continue working using only a 8B graphite pencil. The highlights on the fur were achieve by erasing and blending with a tortillion.		I love to draw the scruffy looking  fur on the face and this was achieved using backwards strokes towards the root of the hair.

I felt Coco's portrait would look more lively if I added subtle color to the drawing. Her pink tongue and brown eyes makes this dog come to life on paper!
